3. Marvin (and Zay) Jones, WR, Jacksonville Jaguars at Indianapolis Colts
Christian Kirk’s fantasy output has declined three straight weeks but he beat these Colts for two touchdowns back in Week 2. However, we have to respect what the Colts have done on defense lately. They have consistently been a stingy defense for opposing wide receivers. Take away that Week 2 game by Kirk and all other receivers have been held to 11.0 fantasy points or less.
Fantasy owners have been looking outside of Kirk to see if they can get some of the secondary action in this passing offense. I think that’s why Marvin Jones and Zay Jones have been entertaining inquiries on the waivers. Both Marvin and Zay have been worth spotty plays but Kirk is the only Jaguars receiver worth playing and he’s a mid-level flex at best this week.
