Welcome, Bruno Boys Nation to the Week 12 of the 2023 NFL Season! Along with the variety of fantasy football formats, we cover Player Prop bets. So in case you just want some quick action for the weekend, Ernie Estrella is tackling Player Prop betting during the season. He will break down a favorable matchup and select a handful of bets for five players at quarterback, running back and wide receivers / tight ends, based on how he sees the game script going.
Week 12 Quarterbacks
Jalen Hurts will throw OVER 1.5 touchdowns ( +106 SugarHouse) and pass OVER 240.5 yards (-115 PointsBet) against the Bills.
Start Time: Sunday, November 26 at Lincoln Financial Field, 4:25pm ET
Broadcast: CBS Sports / Paramount+ / NFL+
Coming hot off a win against the Chiefs, Hurts is playing with a lot of confidence. His recent box scores haven’t been all that great, but you have to consider the teams he’s been playing. The Cowboys, Jets, Dolphins, and Chiefs are among those that he’s recently played. Of those tough defenses, Hurts still threw two touchdowns on the Dolphins and Cowboys. Meanwhile the Bills defense has given up two passing touchdowns to four of the last five QBs they’ve faced. It might have been five if not for Zack Wilson being a weekly disappointment.
Remember that Hurts has A.J. Brown to throw to, who most defenses don’t have a way of slowing down. There’s Devonta Smith, who is a WR1 in his own right. Then you have D’Andre Swift and a stable of running backs who can all catch the ball too. Hurts can run the ball himself, but the Bills have contained that this season.
I really think Hurt can break out and assert the Eagles as top dawg in the NFL with his arm. Doing that to the Bills, who are a bit fragile right now, would be the statement maker Philadelphia wants to make.
