Welcome, Bruno Boys Nation to the Week 12 of the 2023 NFL Season! Along with the variety of fantasy football formats, we cover Player Prop bets. So in case you just want some quick action for the weekend, Ernie Estrella is tackling Player Prop betting during the season. He will break down a favorable matchup and select a handful of bets for five players at quarterback, running back and wide receivers / tight ends, based on how he sees the game script going.

Week 12 Running Backs

Derrick Henry will rush OVER 72.5 yards ( -113 FanDuel) against the Panthers

Start Time: Sunday, November 26 at Nissan Stadium, 1:00pm ET
Broadcast:  FOX Sports /  FOX NOW  / NFL+

Derrick Henry is averaging 66.3 yards per game this season, which is one of the lowest in his career. When you know that his yards per game is usually at 95.0 that makes his 2023 numbers staggering. Still, I have a lot of confidence left in Henry. He’s the victim of an unimaginative offense, which is now led by rookie gunslinger Will Levis. There’s temptation to throw against the Panthers, but that would be a mistake. The Panthers are atrocious stopping the run, allowing 114.8 rushing yards per game to running backs alone.

IF there’s a bounce back opportunity and then some for Henry. This is it. He’s had a couple of rough outings against the Bucs and Jaguars, both quality run defenses, But this week he has Carolina and next week the Colts, both of which are bottom dwelling run defenses. That’s why I think he’ll go OVER his rushing yards prop.
