Welcome, Bruno Boys Nation to the Week 2 of the 2023 NFL Season! Along with the variety of fantasy football formats, we cover Player Prop bets. So in case you just want some quick action for the weekend, Ernie Estrella is tackling Player Prop betting during the season. He will break down and select a handful of bets for five players at quarterback, running back and wide receivers / tight ends, based on how he sees the game script going.
Week 2 Quarterbacks

The Bills must be steaming mad headed into Week 2. To lose that Monday Night game the way that they did, and with such a good defensive effort. They will be out for blood against the Raiders, not that they did anything to provoke Buffalo. Sometimes though, you need to take out your frustration on something, and the Raiders just happen to be the first in line.
Las Vegas comes to Buffalo 1-0, which hasn’t been the norm for the Raiders headed into Week 2, but Jimmy G made plenty of plays despite facing an equally tough defense. He completed 20-of-26 passes for two touchdowns, but he didn’t get to stretch the defense much, averaging just 7.7 yards a pass, for a total of 200 yards.
Unfortunately, Garopppolo and the offense took a big hit this week when they lost Jakobi Meyers to a concussion at the end of the Raiders-Broncos game in Week 1. Meyers led the team in targets with 10 and caught nine passes for two touchdowns. That doesn’t mean that the passing game is dead. They do have Davante Adams after all, who was right behind Meyers in targets. Tre’Davious White is most certainly going to see some time covering Adams, if not most of the game. Without a complimentary receiver like Meyers, Adams could see the coverage roll and crowd his way. With Meyers down, it’s going to be a real challenge for Garoppolo, Adams, and Josh Jacobs to get that passing yard prop to 235 yards, especially against this defense.
