Welcome, Bruno Boys Nation to the Week 4 of the 2023 NFL Season! Along with the variety of fantasy football formats, we cover Player Prop bets. So in case you just want some quick action for the weekend, Ernie Estrella is tackling Player Prop betting during the season. He will break down a favorable matchup and select a handful of bets for five players at quarterback, running back and wide receivers / tight ends, based on how he sees the game script going.

Week 4 Running Backs

Kenneth Walker will rush OVER 14.5 Attempts (-119 Caesars) and OVER 64.5 yards (-114 FanDuel) against the Giants.

Start Time: Sunday, October 2, MetLife Stadium, 1:00pm ET
Broadcast:  ABC Sports /  Paramount+ / NFL+

Walker comes into Week 4 with two straight games of 17+ carries and scoring two touchdowns. That’s proof that with volume, Walker is going to produce. The Panthers have been lit up by opposing running backs too as three running backs with at least 14 carries have not only amassed at least 70 yards rushing but found the end zone too. But will that be the game script?

You betcha, because nothing makes Pete Carroll happier than being able to run the ball. It keeps the game plan balanced and Geno Smith doesn’t have to shoulder so much on his arm. Keeping the defenses guessing when they’re going to pass works for Smith. So this doesn’t mean that the Seahawks are going to run it heavy, it just means that they’re going to be able to set up their play action passing easier by being able to run on first and second down.

Walker is a highly productive back and even though he’s being pressed by rookie Zach Charbonnet, this is a late weekend player prop that is worth placing a nice wage on.
