Week 13 of the 2023 NFL Season upon us and we’re down to the last third of the regular season. Now, quickly just to recap the drama of Week 12 before we dive into this week’s games.

The Broncos are the hottest team in the NFL, winners of five straight. Russell Wilson is cooking and they’re fighting to get back into the playoff conversation. The Texans lost a tough one to the Jaguars and may have given them the AFC South. Buffalo lost another heartbreaker and are currently on the outside looking in. Baltimore is in command of the AFC conference though and seem to be getting stronger.

In the NFC Philadelphia took a commanding lead and is now 10-1. They’ll continue to go through the toughest part of their schedule with San Francisco and Dallas on the horizon. The NFC South is up for grabs with Atlanta beating New Orleans. Detroit’s Jared Goff is playing his worst football at a bad time and Green Bay is making a charge. The 49ers are in cruise control, showing the Seahawks that they’re the class of the West, but the Rams may have found their second half Energizer battery in Kyren Williams.

We’ve sorted though all of this week’s matchups, storylines, and potential game scripts. We will help you make those tough decisions.┬áIn no particular order, here are our Fantasy Football Starts.

Start: Russell Wilson, Denver Broncos at Houston Texans

Could this be the week that Wilson cracks the top 10 for the third time of the season? It’s very possible. Wilson has flirted with that since the Week 9 bye, finishing as the QB11 in Week 10 against Buffalo and the QB12 versus Cleveland. We know his stat sheet can be a head scratcher, like the seven times he’s failed to throw at least 200 yards. But Wilson has 21 touchdowns to just four interceptions, he is completing 68.3 percent of his passes and he’s knocking on the door for comeback player of the year. The Broncos are starting to resemble a Sean Payton team too and are in the hunt for a playoff spot. When you consider that he just faced the Browns, Vikings, Bills, Packers, and the Chiefs twice to make this run, Wilson comes off even better.
