Welcome to Week 14 of the 2023 fantasy football season, Bruno Boys Nation! For those not familiar with the term, “streaming” in fantasy, it’s a strategy wherein players are added and dropped from a roster on a weekly basis. You’re simply playing the best matchup. That player might be dropped the following week for a different player with a better matchup.
On rare occasions, we will spot a matchup where a marginal player could be elevated into a spot start at a key fantasy positions (QB, RB, WR). If you have any of the top tier defenses (San Francisco, Philadelphia, Cleveland…) and tight ends (Travis Kelce, Mark Andrews, T.J. Hockenson, George Kittle…), absolutely start them. If not, then keep reading.
QB Stream: Jake Browning, Cincinnati Bengals vs. Indianapolis Colts
Well, after the Week 13 MNF game between the Jaguars and Bengals, Jake Browning has entered the fantasy conversation. Chances are you have a QB better than Browning but maybe you don’t have the matchup. Browning is drawing interest because of how well he played and executed the game plan and the he looked very good, completing 32-of-37 passes for 354 yards with one touchdown. It didn’t take him long to realize he has one of the best receivers any QB can throw to in Ja’Marr Chase, catching him on a 76-yard pass down the sideline. He also has Joe Mixon, a healthy Tee Higgins (healthy) and Tyler Boyd. Six quarterbacks have scored multiple touchdowns against the Colts and that makes Browning an intriguing STREAMING play for Week 14.
