Week 4 of the 2023 NFL Season has arrived and we’re still reeling from the drama of Week 3. The Dolphins flexed their muscles while blowing out the Bears is burying the lede in Kansas City. Just don’t become the next break-up song, Travis Kelce. The Dolphins look to go 4-0 but will have to do it in Buffalo.

So we’ve sorted though all the matchups and will help you make those tough decisions. In no particular order, here are our Fantasy Football Starts for Week 4.

Daniel Jones, QB, New York Giants vs. Seattle Seahawks

We didn’t really want to feature Jones again this season, even though we’ve written about him twice in Starts and Sits. This third time is a challenging start because he’s looked abysmal in Weeks 1 and 3. Those were going to be brutal matchups and they sandwiched a week (Week 2 against the Cards) where the stars aligned for him, but he didn’t notice until after halftime. Wouldn’t you know it, this is another matchup start for Jones.

The Seahawks featured one of the youngest defenses in the league but they sprinkled in some older veterans in the offseason and the result is mixed. Their pass defense has been picked apart but Matthew Stafford (334 yards), Jared Goff (323 yards), and wait it gets worse…. Andy Dalton (361 yards). They’ve surrendered five touchdown passes with just one interception. Quarterbacks are just too comfortable facing this defense, and that’s good because the Giants won’t get much on the ground unless Saquon Barkley can suit up. Starting Jones is always going to be a risk, but we’ll never let you start him without knowing the calculated risk involved.
