Week 17 Quarterbacks
Geno Smith will throw UNDER 235.5 yards (-120 PointsBet) against the Jets

Who can’t help but swept up in the Geno Smith story. Longtime backup and much maligned, Smith won the Seattle job, put together a Pro Bowl season and until recently, had the Seahawks in playoff contention. He’s in trouble though. This week, the Seahawks placed Marquise Goodwin (wrist, shoulder) placed on injured reserve along with tight end Will Dissly (knee). The good news is that Smith will have his top two receivers in Tyler Lockett (hand) and D.K. Metcalf. Will it be enough to balance out the running of Kenneth Walker III? Possibly, but getting Smith over his yardage prop will be challenging unless he gets others involved.
That will prove to be difficult too as the Jets boast one of the best cornerback tandems in the busuiness in rookie Sauce Garner and former Seahawk D.J. Reed. Those two are going to hound Lockett and Metcalf. We expect the Seahawks to lean on Kenneth Walker III and minimize Smith throwing into that kind of coverage.
