Boston College (5-3) vs. #2 Notre Dame (7-0)

Spread: Notre Dame -11.5 (-110)
Over/Under: 52 points
Time: 3:30pm ET (NBC)

Boy oh boy what a wild weekend Notre Dame gave us, not only covering +5 but winning outright in a wild game 47-40 in double overtime versus the then #2 Clemson TigersNotre Dame has now put themselves into a terrific position to finish the rest of the season undefeated and into a CFB Final 4 spot.

This weekend however may be a bit interesting as they face a team in Boston College that has given ranked teams fits over the years, including this Irish squad.  This could be another opportunity as Notre Dame now truly has nothing to prove except to themselves as the win over Clemson will serve as a golden egg into the Final 4, so long as they don’t slip up.

I was so impressed with the playmaking ability of Ian Book last weekend against a terrific defense that offers talent across the board.  The Irish however offers a terrific defense themselves and they should not be taken lightly even with giving up 40 last week to a backup QB (to note he was the No. 1 quarterback in his class out of high school.)

I do think that this is a bit of a “letdown” in terms of care to run the score up, however I do see motivation in this one defensively and I still believe the Irish are just too talented to win the game by over a touchdown. Let’s tease this one down and bring up the points and hopefully bring home another victory.  We had a terrific 4-0 Week in NCAAF last week and cannot wait to shoot for 5 straight winning weeks!

6-Point Teaser Pick: Notre Dame -5.5 & Under 58
