Last week was another positive week for us. We saw BYU soar past Texas State and easily cover the 28 points as quarterback Zach Wilson continues to make a Heisman Trophy push. Our only blunder on posted plays was SMU -1 against Cincinnati. The Mustangs never showed up on their home turf and were outclassed by a better Bearcat team. This week, we will have multiple plays for our readers and guarantee you are profitable, so let’s get after it.

Editors Note: Every week throughout the NCAA football season our newest sports betting writer, Greg Matson of California Wager, will review different college football games from a sports betting point of view. Greg will also dive into some further game analysis for his favorite picks of the week, as well as give the readers a weekly college football preview.

Boston College (4-2) at #1 Clemson (6-0)

Spread: Clemson -25 (-110)
Over/Under: 58.5 points
Time: 12:00pm ET (ABC)

Clemson has never had a better opportunity to show what they are truly made of then this week.  With the shocking loss of Trevor Lawrence earlier in the week due to Covid-19 and with Notre Dame on deck, suddenly this game against Boston College becomes much more important.

Obviously we know what this Clemson Tiger team is capable of on both sides of the field, but it is hard to just ignore the impact, or loss of, will affect this team. Lawrence has quickly become one of if not the best QB’s in the country and will be a sure top pick in the 2021 draft.  The question now that comes to light is, have we watched him play his last game in college football already?  Scary to think about, but let’s cross that bridge when we get there.

Clemson to me is entirely too talented, hence why this game is 100% about the motivation brought to the field by the Tigers. Boston College should prepare for a long day and we can expect this Clemson defense to absolutely bring the boom this weekend each and every series to make sure there are no other doubts left out there.

Boston College is going to struggle out the gate against a defense that has and will continue to give up nothing. They are strong, fast, experienced and hungry.  Motivation was a bit of a concern earlier this week to me as I expect the Tigers to be looking ahead to the match-up against Notre Dame, however things have changed and I expect this Clemson team to come out motivated and ready to dominate.

Pick: Clemson -14 First Half (-110 at Westgate)
