Who to start and who to sit? It’s the one question you need to answer right in order to do well in fantasy football. You won’t get it right every time but at Bruno Boys we help you work through those tougher decisions to make an informed and confident starting lineup.
Our Running Backs Starts and Sits look specifically at the line that separates RB2s and RB3s. Which ones are legit RB2 starts and which ones are better projected as a flex? We also consider PPR vs. standard, sleeper picks and streaming options too.
We will rarely cover studs unless it’s a sit recommendation based on matchup or we want to make note of a significant angle in the Quick Hits section at the end. Injuries happen too, which affects other players’ fantasy outlook. Lastly, bye weeks are a factor now.
Here are the Week 13 Fantasy Football Running Backs to Sit.
Alex Collins, Seattle Seahawks vs. San Francisco 49ers
Collins looked like a rock solid weekly start when Chris Carson went down but he has been anything but that. He’s scored below 6.0 fantasy points in five straight weeks dating back to Week 7. He’s blown good matchups in many of those weeks and DeeJay Dallas has crept into the picture as a result. His percentage of snaps has fallen from 47-49 percent down to 37-40 percent.
Meanwhile, Dallas has shot up from 37 percent in Week 11 to 60 percent in Week 12. Now Collins is listed as questionable for Week 13 and was limited all week with an abdomen injury. We wouldn’t transfer all of your hopes over to Dallas but it certainly shouldn’t be with Collins.
