Over their first two games this season, the Panthers have allowed a total of 21 points with 10 sacks and three interceptions. There may be some non-believers out there, but that skepticism can wait for another week. Week 3’s matchup is way too good.
It seems he wouldn’t play even if the game was on Sunday, but Houston Texans quarterback Tyrod Taylor (hamstring) will not play Thursday night against the Panthers. With Deshaun Watson inactive until further notice, that means rookie Davis Mills will make his first career start on a short week.
Carolina’s defense has been on the streaming radar right out of the gate this season and they’ve delivered. It will be a huge upset if they don’t make it 3-for-3 in Week 3.
