Aided by a snow storm, the Chiefs held the Denver Broncos to three points on Sunday while intercepting Drew Lock once and registering two sacks. They’ve now allowed 17 points or less in four straight games, with at least three counting stats (sacks and takeaways in four straight.
Mitch Trubisky has been way better lately, which would lead a pessimist to say his next dreadful performance has to be around the corner. Playing the Chiefs next Sunday night, albeit at home, will be a tough environment and Trubisky has thrown an interception in four straight games while taking multiple sacks in seven of the last eight.
There’s some downside here, but the Chiefs’ defense is playing well and Trubisky can and will provide some opportunities. If you’re seeking a streamer, this unit is a good choice.
