New York Giants, D/ST

The Giants allowed 27 points and 420 yards of offense to the Denver Broncos in Week 1, but take away a 70-yard touchdown run by Melvin Gordon and those numbers become easier to digest. Week 2 brings a rebound opportunity for this underrated unit.

The Washington Football Team lost quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick to a signiicant hip injury in Week 1. That means Taylor Heinicke will make his second career regular season start, on a short week. Heinicke was fine when he came in against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 1, but he’s a downgrade from the best version of Fitzpatrick.

Giants defensive coordinator Patrick Graham should have plenty in his bag to confuse Heinicke Thursday night. Bet on at least a handful of sacks and turnovers, and a low point total allowed
