Javorius Allen, RB, Baltimore Ravens
Allen had just 26 total yards on nine touches against the Denver Broncos on Sunday, but he had a rushing touchdown and a receiving touchdown as he continues to vulture touchdowns from Alex Collins. Allen has a rushing score in all three games this season, despite not getting double-digit carries or even 20 yards on the ground in a game yet.
If his red zone role ever dries up, Allen’s 13 catches to this point suggests he could return some value in PPR leagues. With 46 receptions last year and 45 as a rookie in 2015, he’s no stranger to being an asset to PPR league owners.
Without an injury to Collins that would open up a lead role, Allen will be hard to rely on as a fantasy starter. But as a RB4 in 12 and 14-team leagues, you can do a lot worse.
