Trenton Cannon, New York Jets at Chicago Bears
Looking at the running backs that have fared well against the Bears, and there’s not many who have, they’ve been experienced pounders, patient or punishing runners who fight for tough yardage. Also, veteran receiving backs like James White or David Johnson have put up points on the Bears. Everyone else though has struggled. The game script doesn’t look like it will be one that either Jets back will do well, but Isaiah Crowell is the kind of stubborn runner who can break it one play. Cannon saw a slight bump this week in waiver additions, but I’d like to how he’s used for another week or two before getting him a start.
