Eli Manning, New York Giants at Carolina Panthers
Manning had his best chance for a fantasy breakout game against the Saints last week but like so often, he disappointed. This offense has sputtered greatly, and he’s only had one quality start in 2018 and that was against the Texans. Too many times have we seen the offense play it safe, even with threats in the backfield and on the outside edge and it may very well happen again. As for the Panthers, they do force turnovers and the secondary is a solid unit, bolstered now with safety Eric Reid. Until we see Manning keep his uniform clean, we’re going to back off starting Manning until Week 7. – Ernie Estrella
