The NBA is back from its traditional All-Star break, and we’re ready to keep the wheels moving forward. With that being said lets get down to business.
The Boston Celtics look to extend their win streak to a season high (5 games) tonight. While on the other side The Brooklyn Nets come in 10-1 in their last 11 with no signs of slowing down. New addition Blake Griffin will not be making his debut for Brooklyn tonight. The Nets hold a 1-0 lead in the season series VS Boston. Taking home a dominating 123-95 on Christmas day. However these two teams will look quite different since the first meeting. For Brooklyn they’ll be missing Kevin Durant in this one, But plug in James Harden who was not on the court in the 1st meeting. While the Celtics will have Kemba Walker this go around. Should be a great matchup tonight on national TV.
Tonight’s player prop will revolve around Jaylen Brown. Coming off his first ever all star appearance, I’m looking for JB to really showcase that he is an emerging superstar in this league. First meeting Jaylen led the team with 27 points, 8 rebounds, and dishing 3 assists. Combined 38 P/R/A. Last 10 he’s 3-7 VS this number which is always tough to fade. But in this case I’m betting the matchup over the player. Look for Harden to draw the assignment tonight. Plenty of opportunities for Brown to get to his sweet spots.
