Week 4 of the season will finish with a Sunday and Monday night games. But it’s not to early to look at potential Week 5 for fantasy football roster reinforcements off the waiver wire. Bye weeks start in Week 5, with the Los Angeles Chargers, Cleveland Browns, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Seattle Seahawks idle.

Here are nine must-adds from your Week 5 fantasy football waiver wire.

C.J. Stroud, QB, Houston Texans

Stroud went 16-for-30 for 306 yards with two touchdowns (and no interceptions) against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, along with 16 rushing yards. He has topped 20 fantasy points with at least 280 yards and two touchdown passes in three straight games (over 300 yards twice). He also has yet to throw an interception in his first four NFL games.

Week 5 against the Atlanta Falcons is not a great matchup for Stroud, but it’s not awful either. More middle of the road matchups follow in Week 6 (New Orleans Saints), Week 8 (Carolina Panthers), Week 9 (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) and Week 10 (Cincinnati Bengals) around a Week 7 bye. Then it could really be wheels up for Stroud from Week 11-13 (Arizona Cardinals, Jacksonville Jaguars, Denver Broncos).

Be aware of that Week 7 bye, but Stroud will be in this waiver wire column until he no longer qualifies.
