Most fantasy football drafts are done, and Week 1 of the 2022 NFL season is coming.

It may seem too early for a waiver wire column, or to be dropping players you just drafted without an injury, etc. But there are opportunities out there, and here are nine must-adds off your fantasy football waiver wire for Week 1.

Darrell Henderson, RB, Los Angeles Rams

Henderson is lined up to share time in the Rams’ backfield with Cam Akers, who made a quick recovery from a torn Achilles last season and returned for the playoffs. He himself has been a little banged up during the preseason, but head coach Sean McVay has proclaimed his two running backs are “good to go.”

Henderson ran for 688 yards last season, and he certainly has more passing game chops than Akers (29 catches on 40 targets in 2021).

Henderson has gotten some buzz as late-round draft sleeper. But he is available in over 55 percent of ESPN leagues, and nearly quarter of Yahoo! leagues. He should be rostered in far more 12-team leagues as the season gets going.
