Chuba Hubbard, RB, Carolina Panthers

Hubbard suffered an ankle injury in the first game for the Panthers after the Christian McCaffrey trade, and he missed a second game in a row Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals. But if he can get on the field, there’s a role awaiting him.

Hubbard was outdoing D’Onta Foreman before his injury in Week 7, which is notable. On Sunday, in a negative game script, Foreman was not used in passing situations. So Hubbard would have that passing down role, probably to himself, if he can get healthy. To say nothing of any general timeshare with Foreman.

Hubbard’s injury has kept his ownership rates in check. He may have been held out Sunday due to the Panthers being on a short week for a Week 10 Thursday night game against the Atlanta Falcons.
