Juwan Johnson, TE, New Orleans Saints

Johnson only had four targets against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, but he corraled three of them for 47 yards with a touchdown. He has topped 40 yards with a touchdown in three straight games now, and going back further he has scored and/or topped 40 yards in five of his last six games.

A bye in Week 14 is worth noting here, but Johnson has delivered bankable (albeit touchdown-driven) production at tight end for too long to be as widely available as he is. Beggars can’t be choosers on the tight end landscape.

This side of Travis Kelce or Mark Andrews managers, adding Johnson even if you won’t automatically use him over your current tight end is a prudent move. Drop that extra running back or wide receiver you’ll never useat this stage of the season, and at least keep a usable tight end off the roster of a potential playoff opponent.
