Week 16 of the 2021 NFL schedule is nearly complete, with fantasy football results (semifinals in a lot of leagues) possibly to still be determined.

For those with something still to play for, here are nine must-adds from your Week 17 fantasy football waiver wire.

Justin Jackson, RB, Los Angeles Chargers

With Austin Ekeler out on the reserve/COVID-19 list, Jackson stepped in as the Chargers’ lead back Sunday against the Houston Texans and produced (11 carries for 64 yards and two touchdowns, eight receptions for 98 yards).

Regardless of his vaccination status, Ekeler could get cleared to play in time for Week 17 against the Denver Broncos. But he registered a positive test on Saturday, so it’s hardly a guarantee.

It’s not a great matchup against the Broncos, but Jackson basically had Ekeler’s dual role against Houston and would be in line for it again. That volume alone creates an RB2 floor.

Jackson became a priority waiver wire pickup as last week developed. Still available in over half of ESPN leagues and nearly one-third of Yahoo! leagues, he’s a must-add right off the bat for Week 17.
