Week 17 of the 2021 NFL schedule is nearly complete, and with the end of the week many fantasy football leagues will also be done for the season.
But for those who extend another week, we’re here for you. Here are nine must-adds off your fantasy football waiver wire for Week 18.
Trey Lance, QB, San Francisco 49ers
Lance started in place of the injured Jimmy Garoppolo (thumb) on Sunday against the Houston Texans, and went 16-for-23 for 249 yards with two touchdowns (and an interception) while adding 31 rushing yards on eight attempts.
There’s a chance Garoppolo plays Week 18 against the Los Angeles Rams, as the 49ers try to clinch a playoff spot with a win. In fantasy terms, it’s also not a great matchup for whoever San Francisco’s quarterback is.
But Lance adds value with his legs, and that raises his floor. If you need Week 18, the rookie is a QB1 streamer.
