The 2023 NFL season is here, and we are back here at Bruno Boys with what we affectionately call the “Sunday night 9.” That is, nine top adds posted on Sunday night for the following week’s fantasy football waiver wire.

Here are nine must-adds from your Week 2 fantasy football waiver wire.

Tyler Allgeier, RB, Atlanta Falcons

Savvy Bijan Robinson drafters surely drafted Allgeier too, right? Well, apparently not so much. On Sunday against the Carolina Panthers, the second-year man had 15 carries for 75 yards and two touchdowns along with three catches (on three targets) for 19 yards. And no, Robinson was not injured. The highly touted rookie was also heavily involved, with 10 carries for 56 yards, six catches (on six targets) for 27 yards and a receiving touchdown.

It’s easy to forget Allgeier was a 1,000-yard rusher and averaged 4.9 yards per carry as a rookie last year. He also averaged 8.2 yards per target in limited work as a pass catcher.

In a run-heavy, running back-centric Falcons’ offense, Allgeier is a bit more than a sheer handcuff to Robinson. He’s got standalone flex appeal, with upside, and he’s a must-add in any league for Robinson and non-Robinson owners wherever he is available.
