Allen Lazard, WR, Green Bay Packers

Lazard took advantage of fellow wideout Davante Adams injury on Sunday night. The 3rd year pass catcher finished with 6 receptions for 146 yards and a touchdown as the Packers routed the New Orleans Saints 37-30. It was evident that Aaron Rodgers has trust in his youngster as Lazard was targeted often downfield and the duo connected on a 72 yard deep ball.

The Packers have scored 35-plus points in all three of their games so far and are in an excellent spot for another high scoring afternoon against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 4. The Falcons have given up 108 points in just three games and have allowed 9 receiving touchdowns on the season. After a Week 5 bye, Green Bay travels to Tampa Bay in Week 6 in a game that should be high scoring and then has favorable matchups with the Houston Texans and Minnesota Vikings in Week 7 and 8.

I expect the Packers to hold out Adams until after the Week 5 bye and because of this, Lazard should be see WR1 type volume against the Falcons next week. Even when Adams returns, Lazard is climbing up the Packers depth chart and deserves to be owned in all scoring formats; especially considering how good the Green Bay offense has been. — Marc Caviglia
