Carlos Hyde, RB, Seattle Seahawks

Chris Carson appears to have avoided a serious injury after a dirty play by Cowboys defensive lineman Trysten Hill on Sunday, with only a knee sprain. But he may still miss time, which lines Hyde up for a bigger role.

Carson’s injury happened so late on Sunday that Hyde didn’t get a ton of work, but he did finish with four carries for 12 yards and one catch for 11 yards. Travis Homer also had two carries for 19 yards, but if Carson were to miss any games Hyde would get the majority of the work.

Whoever the Seahawks’ lead back will be gets favorable matchups in Week 4 and Week 5 against the Miami Dolphins and Minnesota Vikings. With even the remote chance that man is Hyde, he’s a must-add for Carson owners and in 12 and 14-team leagues in general.
