Baker Mayfield, QB, Cleveland Browns

After Tyrod Taylor left last Thursday night’s game against the New York Jets, and he wasn’t playing well anyway, Mayfield entered the game and sparked the Browns to a long-awaited win as he went 17-for-23 for 201 yards.

Browns head coach Hue Jackson has yet to confirm Mayfield as the starter for Week 4, but that’s expected to happen on Monday. The Oakland Raiders haven’t been that generous to opposing quarterbacks, in terms of fantasy points, but they have allowed multiple passing touchdowns in two of three games and no quarterback has attempted more than 35 passes against them yet.

Mayfield is essentially a QB2 for fantasy owners right now. But if you’re the Cam Newton owner in a deep league, and thus need a bye week fill-in for Week 4, the reigning Heisman Trophy winner can be on your radar.
