Devonta Freeman, RB, New York Giants

After a highly uninteresting Giants’ debut in Week 3 (five carries for 10 yards, Freeman had 11 carries for 33 yards and four catches for 35 yards against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday. He led the committee, with Wayne Gallman (six carries) and Dion Lewis (one carry and two catches) picking up the rest.

The Giants’ offense is not too desirable in fantasy right now. But a tough stretch of schedule to start the season now gives way to a Week 5-Week 10 run that includes the Dallas Cowboys (Week 5) as well as Washington (Week 6 and Week 9) and the Philadelphia Eagles (Week 7 and Week 10) twice apiece.

Based on his looming signing with the Giants after Saquon Barkley was injured, Freeman was added in droves a couple weeks ago. But there’s still a lot of room to add him, and now with proof of a solid role he’s well worth a roster spot in 10, 12 and 14-team leagues with bye weeks to navigate now.
