Zack Moss, RB, Buffalo Bills
After missing three games with a toe injury, Moss was eased back to action in Week 6 with five carries for 10 yards. On Sunday against the New York Jets, his workload went up and he finished with seven carries for 47 yards along with three catches for 25 more yards. By comparison, Devin Singletary had eight carries for 29 yards and two catches for 18 yards against the Jets. He has not even rushed for 40 yards in three straight games
Now healthy, Moss is set to push for more carries alongside Singletary. If he can maintain a role in the passing game like he had against the Jets, with three targets to Singletary’s five, that’s notable too. As it is, the two had the same amount of touches in Week 7 and Moss out-yardaged Singletary 72-47.
The Bills seem set to have a frustrating two-man running back committee, with Josh Allen’s rushing production/touchdown vulturing factoring in too. But Moss is worth adding in all leagues with 12 or more teams, if only based on upside as a bench stash or flex option.
