Hi Bruno Boys Nation. In December 2020, we brought in Drew Hemond and the TNT Bets team to be our resident Player Prop experts. Drew & the TNT Bets team will be covering player props, ATS, Totals and more throughout the year. Continue to check back on a regular basis for Drew’s articles and while you’re at it, head over to his Twitter account for more free and VIP sports betting plays.
Before we get to the sports betting picks, let’s quickly recap our record on posted plays:
TNT Bets NFL Player Prop Record: 10-5 (+6.50u)
TNT Bets NFL ATS Record: 3-2 (+1.55u)
TNT Bets Overall Record: 13-5 72.2% (+8.05u)
Week 4 of the 2022 NFL season kicks off tonight in Cincinnati for what looks to be a great game on paper. Highly competitive action for two playoff contenders.
Miami Dolphins (3-0) @ Cincinnati Bengals (1-2)
Bengals (-3.5) Over/Under 48.5
Not much of an edge in this matchup head-to-head. Going back to 2004 the Miami Dolphins have a 5-4 record playing the Cincinatti Bengals. The Dolphins have taken the past two matchups with an average margin of victory of 7.5 points. With 75% of the money currently sitting on Dolphins +3.5 that’s usually good enough reason to scare off anyone. But this has major impact for both of these two teams. On one side you have the Bengals at home trying to save themselves from falling to 1-3 in what looks to be a 3-horse race in the AFC North. On the flip side of the coin after a huge win over Buffalo, Miami has a chance to establish themselves as true contenders and looking to grow their lead atop the AFC East.
Editor’s Note: A new season is upon us and I’m glad to be back giving out winners to the faithful TNT family as well as all of Bruno Boys nation.
With everything coming into factor, these are the two plays I think will have us beating the books once again this Thursday night.
TV Broadcast: Amazon Prime Video 8:15pm (ET)
Pick #1: 7 Point Teaser: Dolphins +10.5 & Under 55.5 (-140)
Risk: 1.4 units
To Win: 1 unit
Last game was definitely a cause for concern with Hurst only seeing 2 targets. I love the number we get here. With his receptions prop at 2.5 -170 juiced to the over. Look for Hurst to get involved early and often. Especially when it comes time to move the chain on 3rd downs.
Pick #2: Hayden Hurst Over 27.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
Risk: 1.15 units
To Win: 1 unit
